Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer Specialist to join our team in San Jose, California.
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer Specialist will perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures of high complexity to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all commonly performed echocardiography procedures in the department with a high level of competence.
- Perform adult congenital heart echocardiograms, cardiac research projects, and other specialized procedures as required.
- May also be responsible for orienting other staff to the department.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- 2 of the following certifications: RCS (CCI), ACS (CCI), ARDMS - RDCS(AE), ARDMS - RDCS(PE), ARDMS - RDCS(FE), ARDMS - RVT.
Work Environment:
The Cardiac Sonographer Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Pay Range is $77.78 to $97.21 / hour.
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
