Field Service Metrology Specialist - Analytical Laboratory Instruments
Location: San Jose, CA

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Diedre Moire Corporation as a Calibration Specialist, focusing on the maintenance and calibration of analytical laboratory instruments. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our high-performance equipment used in various clinical and research settings.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure analytical instruments, ensuring proper electrical and liquid connections for optimal functionality.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on service contract accounts.
  • Provide detailed estimates for repairs on instrumentation not covered by service agreements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laboratory instruments efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive service records for each system and service interaction.
  • Manage inventory of tools, parts, and diagnostic software essential for service operations.
  • Assist sales teams with product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.

Instruments Involved:
  • High-Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC)
  • Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatographs (UPLC)
  • Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers (LCMS)
  • And similar analytical devices.
