Job Overview

Introduction: The Emergency Center is excited to announce the expansion of our services with the opening of a new Freestanding Emergency Center. We are seeking skilled and passionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses for NIGHT shifts to be part of this innovative healthcare initiative. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and create positive experiences for our patients and staff.

Position Summary: Emergency nurses play a crucial role in collaborating with physicians and radiologic technologists to assess, intervene, and stabilize patients experiencing a range of medical emergencies. This role involves providing both physical and emotional support to patients, their families, and fellow team members. Given the variety of urgent health issues that may arise, a comprehensive understanding of both general and specific medical conditions is essential. Licensure is mandatory.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Employment Type: Full Time or PRN

Compensation: $54.00/Hour DOE

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in emergency care, demonstrating confidence, empathy, and a proactive approach in all situations. They will be resourceful, forward-thinking, and reliable, delivering outstanding patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: Associate degree or higher in nursing.
  • Required: Completion of education necessary for state licensure as a registered nurse.

Experience:

  • Preferred: Over two years of experience in emergency or ICU nursing.

Computer Skills:

  • Required: Basic computer proficiency.

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Required: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Required: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
