We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed, including abscess drainage, biopsy, and consent for invasive procedures.
- Monitor patients receiving I.V. sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
- Inform the Radiologist/Technologist of any pertinent changes in the patient's condition.
- Administer medications/blood as ordered, and start saline locks and I.V.'s according to IVP/CT protocol.
- Catheterize patients in the department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- BSN preferred.
- Two years of hospital experience required.
- Basic EKG certification required.
- IV Therapy certification required.
- IV Medication course required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- American Heart Association ACLS certified within six months of hire.
