About the Role: We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our team, responsible for reviewing manufacturing processes, implementing efficiency improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Design efficient work processes and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Product Development: Create and maintain Design History Files (DHF), process new products, and develop specifications for parts used in manufacturing.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop efficient engineering and manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Documentation: Generate process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and reports to support production processes.
  • Validation: Perform validation on components, processes, and develop protocols to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to production teams, solving and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality teams, perform complaint analysis, and corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Process Improvement: Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements, analyzing products for cost reduction and process optimization.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering) required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years working in an engineering environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of time studies, production processes, DHF, MRP, cost reductions, product development and qualification, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Software: Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, knowledge of D365 dynamics a plus.
  • Language: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to speak Spanish a plus.
