Position Summary

We're seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. This individual contributor role will report to the NE General Manager and focus on proactively calling on companies and decision-makers. The successful candidate will establish and cultivate relationships through regular contact, leveraging Vector Media's unique asset offerings and delivery methodologies to position us as the OOH vendor of choice in our local markets.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage time, account list, and travel to maximize sales calls and interactions.
  • Prospect for new customers and manage your personal sales pipeline.
  • Consistently use the CRM system to track and manage sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal creative departments and clients to develop effective advertising campaigns.
  • Partner with Charting, Creative, Operations, and Administrative staff to ensure on-time delivery of advertisements.
  • Meet a preassigned sales quota.
  • Build a sales pipeline equal to at least four times your monthly quota.
Requirements
  • A proven record of exceeding sales quotas over an extended period in an outside sales position within the last 5 years.
  • Experience presenting and selling products with a long sales cycle and multiple touch points.
  • High level of organization, skill, and experience managing sales pipeline.
  • Ability to travel to and from prospect visits and industry events.
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability to create and attend networking events.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills that extend to internal team members in pre/post-sales.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying accounts.
  • Experience selling mobile/digital advertising ecosystem a plus.
  • Ability to understand products and effectively identify how they can provide value to prospective clients.
  • 5+ years of client direct or OOH sales.
