Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide compliance support to sites for various environmental issues, including air and water pollution.
  • Develop training modules for environmental awareness and site-specific environmental functions.
  • Evaluate negative trends in compliance and develop potential solutions to improve performance.
  • Support sites in compliance reporting and provide environmental assistance to stakeholder groups.
  • Participate in industry and advocacy groups to stay up-to-date on regulatory developments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of solutions to ensure compliance with new regulations.
  • Manage and participate in EHS audits of sites.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BS in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of environmental compliance and permitting experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of air pollution experience with regards to compliance, regulation applicability, and permitting.
  • Knowledgeable in federal/state/local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance and reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
