CNC Machinist Specialist

  • Competitive compensation at $27.00 per hour with a $1 differential based on experience.
  • Temporary to permanent position.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Our client, a leading distributor of line pipe in the United States, is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of inspection tools, their functionalities, and applications to ensure all manufactured components meet tolerance specifications.
  • Engage in and contribute to Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
  • Operate both manual and CNC machinery effectively.
  • Receive bar stock, verifying types, lengths, and dimensions while demonstrating a solid grasp of ISO procedures to enhance work processes and identify issues.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a pipe yard and forklift operation.
  • Prior experience with CNC machinery is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings.
