Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Orlando Senior Health Network, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and delivering high-quality resident care. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that medical records are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to residents, adhering to physicians' orders and established standards.
  • Supervise daily nursing unit functions, including CNA supervision and delivery of resident care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care, condition, and treatment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Coordinate transportation and appointments for residents as needed.
  • Collaborate with Social Services to ensure resident needs are met.
  • Discharge or transfer residents according to facility policy.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and approach in all interactions.
  • Attend inservice classes and on-the-job training as scheduled.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions at all times.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • 1+ year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
Compensation:

$25-$37 per hour, depending on experience.
