Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Training Specialist to support our Manager of Training and Development in designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs for Account Managers and other leadership staff. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills and a passion for employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and refining training programs for Account Managers and other managerial staff, focusing on leadership development, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Training and Development to ensure that training content is aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing staff, using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., workshops, e-learning, and in-person training).
  • Ensure that training sessions promote active learning and are tailored to participants' specific needs.

Recruiting and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for new Account Managers, ensuring they receive all necessary training and resources to succeed in their roles.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Training and Development to monitor the progress of new hires and provide ongoing support as needed.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Manager of Training and Development on participants' progress and recommend adjustments to the training curriculum where needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes and provide insights to the Manager of Training and Development to support continuous improvement efforts.

Training Program Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Proactively suggest new training methods and technologies that can enhance learning experiences.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure seamless coordination of training efforts.
  • Support the Manager of Training and Development in organizing training events, leadership academies, and mentorship programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, employee development, or a related field.
  • Candidate must be open to travel within the assigned markets and region.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness and provide actionable feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CPLP) is a plus.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements.
