About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Specialist II to join our dynamic payroll team at Nike. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax payments and filings, as well as maintaining local tax authorities and employee registrations.

Responsibilities
  • Process daily, monthly, and quarterly tax payments and filings accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Audit and maintain local tax authorities, including employee coding and registrations.
  • Evaluate and resolve tax notices in a timely manner.
  • Participate in year-end activities, including processing W-2s and W-2cs for 40,000+ employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries within established service level agreements and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain supporting payroll documentation and manage agency registrations and online accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in multi-state payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll tax and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, Outlook, and Box, with experience in Workday and ADP/SmartCompliance software a plus.
Benefits and Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.
