Position: Inbound Logistic Coordinator (Bilingual Korean/English) - Contract

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the preparation of ocean import shipments and oversee the distribution of import documentation.
2. Provide general business support as required.
3. Facilitate the preparation of ocean import shipments for designated clients, which includes customs clearance, updating schedule reports, and tracking vessel itineraries.
4. Prepare and distribute ocean import documents to the brokerage department and/or clients' brokers.
5. Coordinate pick-up and delivery logistics with trucking companies, airlines, steamship lines, and/or bonded facilities to ensure efficient shipment processing.
6. Conduct filing and data entry tasks.
7. Generate freight bills and invoices for brokers and ensure collection of outstanding invoices within credit terms.
8. Collaborate with team members to assist with various tasks and projects as required by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in ocean import operations.
2. High school diploma or equivalent certification, or substantial relevant work experience.
3. Familiarity with steamship line websites and schedules is essential.
4. Understanding of international trade (Incoterms, methods, customs regulations, etc.) is preferred.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
7. Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new computer systems and software.
8. Proficiency in MS Excel is a significant advantage.
9. Bilingual proficiency in Korean is required to facilitate communication with headquarters.
