Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Reliable Relamping, a leading provider of lighting maintenance and electrical services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a retail/commercial setting.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure 100% operational functionality of customer stores.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose electrical problems, utilizing a strong understanding of electrical theory, lighting, and lamp and ballast knowledge.
  • Blueprint Reading and Schematics: Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting and component replacement for existing layouts, as well as the installation of new equipment.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes, upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Customer and Team Communication: Effectively communicate with customers and team members, fostering collaborative efforts for the successful completion of projects.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory supplies, maintain truck inventory, and adhere to store paperwork requirements, demonstrating organizational proficiency.
  • DOT Medical Card and Chauffeurs Commercial License: Obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card/Chauffeurs Commercial License, possessing a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen: Pass a criminal background check and drug screen to meet employment requirements.
  • Professional Presence: Maintain a professional presence in client facilities, providing excellent customer service and representing the company positively.
  • Job Site Maintenance: Clean and maintain job sites, tools, and vehicles to uphold a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Journeyman, State or Master License: Required
  • 2-5 Years of Experience as a Journeyman Electrician: Required
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Required
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Required
  • Attention to Detail: Required
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Respond to Emergency Calls: Required
  • Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds: Required

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30.00-$38.00, depending on experience and skills, plus a sign-on bonus.
