Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to join our team in a Contract-to-Hire position. As an Electrical Specialist, you will work in a heavy industrial environment, responsible for electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair of high-voltage equipment, including 480-volt three-phase power distribution systems
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical switchgear, motors, and other electrical equipment
  • Work with operating technicians on major projects and participate in production and maintenance tests and functions
  • Take work orders, remove items from inventory, and report on inventory removal
  • Answer emergency calls and respond to electrical issues in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician certification
  • Experience with 480-volt three-phase power distribution equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot starters, AC/DC motors, drives, starters, and DC Controls
  • Reading schematics and basic computer knowledge
  • PLC troubleshooting (GE, SLG 500) experience
  • Mechanical work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics
