About the Role

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Coordinator to join its team. This role will provide analytical, logistical, and administrative support to the firm's Professional Development Department, assisting in the planning, coordination, and administration of attorney development initiatives, policies, programs, and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Coordination: Provide primary support for program leads in planning firm professional development programs/academies, including coordination and program logistics, budget tracking, venue sourcing, and liaison services.
  • Learning Management System Expertise: Develop and enhance expertise in the firm's learning management system to effectively track and maintain training records.
  • Event Planning and Support: Edit and post practice group training videos for inclusion in the training library on the intranet site, and provide logistical support for practice group training efforts as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide analytical and administrative support in the coordination and processing of CLE requests for firm-sponsored programs.
  • Talent Development Initiatives: Support any and all other training and development, talent, or engagement initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Excellent planning and organizational skills, effective written and oral communication skills, ability to take initiative and contribute new ideas, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Firm personnel and staff, exercise sound judgment, and work well under pressure.
