Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of manufacturing and packaging processes. This position involves coordinating necessary training and providing support to address any issues that may arise on the production floor.
In addition to quality oversight, the inspector will engage in various administrative tasks and manage the collection of retain samples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authorize line clearance for Packaging and Filling Line Equipment prior to production activities.
- Monitor environmental conditions within GMP areas.
- Manage the issuance of labeling materials.
- Ensure that Packaging and Filling lines are equipped with the correct documentation, packaging components, and products throughout the production process.
- Accurately complete Packaging Pages.
- Conduct in-process fill checks during packaging runs in compliance with SOP and Packaging Pages.
- Collect Retain and Laboratory evaluation samples according to SOP or Packaging guidelines.
- Document Finished Product counts, including dates, pallet numbers, case counts, and perform necessary calculations for accuracy.
- Execute back-flushing of products upon completion of pallets using the BEAS system, which interfaces with SAP.
- Print, verify, and attach Pallet count sheets to respective pallets.
- Ensure the completeness of label reconciliation sheets and return any unused labels to the designated area.
- Verify that equipment logbooks are accurately maintained by both Quality and production associates at the start and end of packaging runs.
- Report any Quality non-conformances and deviations to the Quality Lead and Management.
- Adhere to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices, ensuring all documentation aligns with applicable SOPs and industry best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend SOPs, Master Batch records, test procedures, and other relevant technical documents in English.
- Proficient in performing calculations.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
