Job Description

You are invited to apply for a challenging role at Shearer's Foods, a leading manufacturer of snack foods in North America.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Operations Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

The successful candidate will assist the Operations Leader in the daily operations of the department, ensuring safe work practices, maintaining clean work areas, and validating GMP compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and working on the line as needed to meet production demand.
  • Ensuring safe work practices are utilized and initiating safety improvements.
  • Maintaining clean work areas and ensuring GMP compliance.
  • Validating that all 5-S tools are in place.
  • Supporting and training team members as needed to perform their daily job duties.
  • Coordinating team's daily activities to meet production requirements.
  • Providing front-line troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.

Requirements:

  • Ability to escalate challenges to appropriate levels of leadership effectively.
  • Flexibility and availability to interact and connect with team members at all levels in the organization.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting with staff, suppliers, and community partners.
