KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage all cage and vault cashiers: Train, evaluate, schedule, and mentor staff.
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare and review currency transaction reports for accuracy.
  • Ensure vault accountability at the end of each shift.
  • Verify credit line availability for patrons.
  • Act as a cashier or support the main bank operations as necessary.
  • Monitor the performance of cage cashiers and the main bank.
  • Review transaction logs for precision and compliance.
  • Support cage cashiers with their tasks as needed.
  • Verify main bank and window cashier drawers for accuracy.
  • Manage cashier breaks effectively.
  • Authorize checks as required.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Prepare fills and credits for live games when acting as cashier/banker.
  • Handle jackpot preparations when acting as cashier/banker.
  • Maintain customer deposit and safekeeping logs.
  • Provide exceptional service and maintain positive communication with patrons and colleagues.
  • Perform duties safely and report any potential hazards to management.
  • Act as Cage Shift Manager when necessary.
  • Carry out any reasonable, temporarily assigned tasks outside of the job description to support efficiency and guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Capable of tolerating second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, often crowded environment.
  • Must adhere to professional appearance standards as per company policy.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands to handle objects, and reach with arms.
  • Occasionally required to walk, climb, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
