KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure optimal results by adhering to established protocols and standards, conducting regular evaluations to maintain high-quality service.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Back of House team, ensuring effective management and support of operational objectives.
  • Contribute to menu development and maintain consistent food quality across all dining venues.
  • Assist in managing inventory control systems and cost management practices.
  • Develop efficient staffing schedules while adhering to labor cost guidelines and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Support the budgeting process for the culinary department, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Promote and uphold superior customer service standards, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in a Chef de Cuisine role.
  • Proven supervisory experience, ideally within a hospitality or gaming environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations.
  • Ability to produce reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Mathematical skills for budgeting and inventory management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and collaborate with team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
