About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista at the Lawrenceburg Event Center. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service Standards: Adhere to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Menu Suggestion and Preparation: Determine guest needs and suggest menu items to enhance service and meet sales goals. Prepare a variety of food and beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards.
  • Cash Handling and Operations: Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions; transport monies to and from the main Credit cage. Count money in register before and after each shift and properly record closing transactions.
  • Cleanliness and Supplies: Maintain cleanliness and supplies in side stations; clean and wipe down workstation and utensils before and after each assignment.
  • Stocking and Sanitation: Stock foods in their proper place in food storerooms and rotate stock as necessary. Clean and sanitize working/kitchen areas in outlets, both behind the line and in dining area.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Assure that tables are bussed and maintains dining area by returning tables and chairs to proper locations, as needed.
  • Waste Management: Assure that empty containers and rolling trash/cardboard dumpsters are taken to receiving dock, as needed. Monitor disposal of garbage and cardboard to respective dumpster at dock.
  • Merchandise Sales: Sell non-food merchandise and maintains display.
  • Communication and Safety: Provide positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker. Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Previous cash handling experience a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Availability: Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights. Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment. Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
