A manufacturing organization is in search of a Night Shift Supervisor. Role Summary: This position is accountable for overseeing production personnel within a manufacturing and assembly setting. Responsibilities include planning and delegating tasks, recommending enhancements in production techniques, cost reduction strategies, and operational procedures. Ensuring that all staff adhere to safety protocols and company policies is a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assign, and supervise workflow for production staff.
  • Ensure production targets and quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Guarantee that all personnel perform their tasks in a safe manner.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Coordinate the initiation, cessation, and transitions of production processes.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and employee morale to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
  • Address performance-related issues and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Participate in scheduled supervisory and management discussions.
  • Prepare activity analyses upon request.
  • Review and approve employee timekeeping records.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficient reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
