Senior Aviation Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our aviation program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple engineering projects and operational activities.
Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead and manage aviation projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget, maintaining aggressive efforts to achieve objectives, and acting as a technical liaison with vendors.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor project progress to ensure objectives are met.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons learned in future projects.
- Financial Controls: Responsible for all phases of the program budget and monthly Program Management Reviews. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance and develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Word, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and operational tempos simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in program or project management within the aviation or like industry.

Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
