Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage front desk functions and staff to ensure excellent patient service and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement work schedules for assigned staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient flow.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dental Operations to provide education and training for clerical staff as needed.
- Travel to all dental locations as required to support operations and provide guidance to staff.
- Participate in and lead improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Dental Operations, staff, and dentists to resolve issues and improve operations.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote a clean and professional office setting.
- Manage waitlists and patient access to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assess scheduling practices to optimize provider availability and community need.
- Field patient complaints and escalate issues to the Director of Dental Operations as needed.
- Collaborate with the Billing Department to ensure accurate and timely practice billing.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in dental front office operations and patient scheduling is required
- Adaptability: Flexible style, receptive to change
- Excellent Patient Service Skills: Professional, manages difficult or emotional patient situations with respect and kindness
- Responds promptly to patient needs for service or assistance, solicits patient feedback to improve service
- Demonstrated ability to effectively complete assigned tasks correctly and on time
- Supports the mission, values, and vision of Community Health Programs Inc
- Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures
- Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent
