About the Role

Community Health Programs Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Front Desk Lead to join our team. As a key member of our dental operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our dental centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage front desk functions and staff to ensure excellent patient service and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement work schedules for assigned staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient flow.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Dental Operations to provide education and training for clerical staff as needed.
  • Travel to all dental locations as required to support operations and provide guidance to staff.
  • Participate in and lead improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with the Director of Dental Operations, staff, and dentists to resolve issues and improve operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote a clean and professional office setting.
  • Manage waitlists and patient access to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Assess scheduling practices to optimize provider availability and community need.
  • Field patient complaints and escalate issues to the Director of Dental Operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Department to ensure accurate and timely practice billing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in dental front office operations and patient scheduling is required
