Position Overview

COMC is seeking to recruit a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our Software Development Department, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager. The Senior .NET Software Engineer will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining backend software solutions primarily utilizing .NET technologies and operating within the Azure environment. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member, well-versed in modern development practices, and adept at mentoring junior developers to foster their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in ongoing software development activities on a daily basis.
  • Participate in code reviews for team members across various projects.
  • Work closely with project team members to meet sprint objectives.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies and relevant meetings concerning software features under development.
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Allocate approximately 80% of time to active software development and 20% to meetings and related tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in C# with significant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 5).
  • Strong SQL skills (TSQL programming) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with Application Architectural Design Patterns and Best Practices for at least 3 years.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud for 1-2 years is preferred.
  • Experience with Terraform is a valuable asset.

Additional Skills

  • Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of the professional sports industry (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn about the trading card sector.

Work Environment

  • Preferred Location – Tacoma, WA.
