Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Department at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures on patients, ensuring excellent patient care.
  • Assist in transporting patients to and from the imaging department as needed.
  • Support the radiologist during imaging procedures as required.
  • Ensure patient safety and radiation safety throughout all procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation in the department.
  • Manage and maintain department supplies and inventory in a cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in the department's Performance Improvement (PI) plan.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Collaborate as a team player within the imaging department and the hospital.
  • Handle hazardous medications in compliance with hospital policies regarding hazardous or antineoplastic drugs, following all endorsed risk mitigation strategies.
  • Operate Synapse (PACS), TeleRadiology systems, Meditech, and CD burners effectively.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current registration with ARRT or Registry Eligible.
  • 1 year of post-graduate experience preferred.
  • If not registered, must obtain ARRT registration within 12 months of hire; otherwise, employment will be terminated.
  • New graduates will have 12 months to become registered.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
