Radiology Technologist-IR Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Atlanta Interventional Institute. As a Radiology Technologist in our Interventional Radiology department, you will play a crucial role in assisting our physicians with various procedures, including treatment for Uterine Fibroids.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology technology and experience working in a fast-paced medical environment. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process to them and their families, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with procedures, following established standards and practices.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate radiographic equipment, including angiographic equipment, to visualize and guide physicians during procedures.
- Record, process, and maintain patient treatment and data records.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology technology.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (AART) required.
- 1 year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification required.
- Cath Lab and/or IR experience is preferable.
