Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone inquiries and deliver exceptional patient/caller experiences
- Schedule, modify, and cancel appointments as needed
- Manage referrals and monitor outstanding referrals
- Work autonomously to address inquiries and provide customer service assistance
- Register new patients, confirm patient details and insurance, and update patient records
- Respond to general inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and medical facilities
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner
- Execute work tasks efficiently and accurately
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum age of 18 years
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare customer service
- Proficient with computer systems and Windows applications
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service position
