Since its inception in 1893, the association has been advocating for law enforcement and promoting leadership and professionalism in policing on a global scale.
The IACP is seeking a Customer Service Project Coordinator to provide comprehensive support for IACP initiatives, specifically focusing on:
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the association management system to monitor details and engagement activities for IACPnet prospects, documenting interactions with subscribers.
- Identify and engage new agencies and individuals, fostering new subscriptions through existing resources and innovative lead generation.
- Initiate contact with potential new subscribers based on generated leads.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Maintain and update IACP Board members' IACPnet accounts on an annual basis.
- Keep accurate records of prospect accounts and lead tracking.
- Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses for existing and potential customers to ensure their requirements are met.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Represent IACP's offerings, demonstrating a thorough understanding of how our solutions align with the needs of prospective subscribers.
- Assist with processing cancellations and new accounts within the association management system.
- Support the Customer Service Manager as needed and serve as a backup.
- Conduct demonstrations for prospective subscribers of the IACPnet platform.
- Maintain effective communication with the project team, including staff members, partners, and subject matter experts, acting as a liaison to external stakeholders.
- Ensure ongoing and effective communication with project team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus two (2) years of related experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues from various perspectives.
- Effective prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a non-profit organization, association, or criminal justice environment.
- Familiarity with project-relevant issues and policing.
- Experience in planning events and making logistical arrangements for individuals and groups.
Special Conditions and Work Environment: Travel may be required based on job responsibilities. Light lifting, bending, and reaching may be necessary.
