Summary: This role provides technical assistance to department personnel in managing surety accounts. Responsibilities include both verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with clients and carriers, as well as other support tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client/Policy Services (60%): Provide daily support to Client Advisors and Surety Clients, assist with daily requests and bond execution, maintain and update financial and underwriting information, manage calendar and bid results, process renewal and cancellation requests, aid in monitoring account receivables and collections, and learn all Bond service standards and procedures.
  • File Management (20%): Document all correspondence and follow up for necessary financial updates promptly. Assist Client Advisors in maintaining client files.
  • Teamwork (10%): Collaborate with the team and other departments, including discussions with Producers and Client Advisors to strategize execution. Manage PTO to align with departmental needs and volunteer to assist others as needed.
  • Determination (10%): Demonstrate commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as outlined in the organization's education program.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as specified by the organization's education plans.
