Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at LyondellBasell. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business growth plans to drive revenue and market share in the assigned OEM/market space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive growth roadmap for the market space, identifying new applications, material gap needs, new customers, and OEMs, as well as competition in the market.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to execute the growth roadmap and drive pipeline development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs and Strategic Tier Accounts.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce and Accolade to drive pipeline development and stage gate process with a cross-functional team.
  • Develop and implement key account plans for OEMs and Strategic Tier Accounts, working closely with individual Account Managers.
  • Lead project teams in new material developments, including Sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific, Technical, or Business field (or 20 years of experience in a related field).
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in commercial or technical roles, with familiarity with B-B sales and business development.
  • OEM Business Development, sales, or technical experience, with a plus for Heavy Truck, Recreation, and Thermoforming experience.
  • Travel up to 50% for internal and customer-related meetings.
  • Project Management experience in a related field.
  • Technical expertise with polymers, preferred for application performance and material specifications.
  • Ability to manage across a matrix organization, including global teams and business partners.
