Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and safe delivery of medications to our members.
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including counting, pouring, measuring, or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams.
  • Enter prescription data into our pharmacy software system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.
