Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Manager Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our hotels, while also driving business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role of Assistant General Manager at assigned hotels, overseeing all departments and ensuring compliance with Brand Standards and Regional Manager directives.
  • Develop and implement operational and financial strategies to achieve hotel goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service, while also driving associate satisfaction and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports, including budget, profit and loss statement, labor statistics, and distribution summary, to inform business decisions.
  • Represent hotels in Cluster Revenue and Sales and Marketing meetings, driving revenue growth and sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in hotel operations, with a strong background in management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with hotel teams, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including PMS, MARSHA, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
