Quality Assurance Engineer Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhancing and maintaining our IT Quality Assurance and Testing/Engineering standards and methodologies.
  • Developing and executing automated test scripts as an integral member of a product team.
  • Conducting thorough code reviews of test automation scripts.
  • Reporting on QA automation metrics and testing progress to the project team.
  • Identifying, documenting, and resolving issues uncovered during automated testing.
  • Coordinating and escalating challenges that arise during the testing phases.
  • Assisting in the verification of application deployments or customer deliverables.
  • Collaborating closely with QA Analysts and QA Supervisors on task prioritization.
  • Ensuring quality and timely delivery in all assigned tasks.
  • Proactively promoting quality engineering practices throughout the product/project team.
  • Working alongside Senior Quality Assurance Analysts or Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to execute tests of business applications, online applications, document processing capabilities, and reporting deliverables.
  • Adhering to established testing practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Micro Front Ends and Angular applications.
  • Background in Test Automation or software development/coding in .NET, Selenium, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with automated test frameworks, Selenium WebDriver, and best practices.
  • Experience in Mobile Automation using Appium.
  • Understanding of API Testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of various testing types (functional, system, integration, etc.).
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Functional Testing within a project team.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Automated Testing using a development framework.
