Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent player in the global agribusiness sector, is in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer with a robust background in ETL testing and SQL scripting. This role offers a potential long-term contract opportunity within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage as a QA member within an agile team.
  • Analyze and clarify project requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive traceability of test cases to user stories.
  • Develop and implement test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
  • Document and monitor defects until resolution.
  • Provide accurate estimates for testing efforts.
  • Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
  • Lead testing meetings, summarize outcomes, report issues/defects, maintain metrics, and offer go/no-go recommendations.
  • Create test data for both immediate and long-term application needs.
  • Oversee deployments into testing and UAT environments.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies in a QA capacity.
  • Proficient in SQL scripting.
  • Strong expertise in ETL testing.
  • Experience with Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps is advantageous.
