Position Summary
The Guest Services Representative is responsible for transporting guests to and from various local attractions as requested by hotel departments. This role also involves providing assistance to the front desk team as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
• Transport guests to designated local locations as scheduled by the Front Desk.
• Introduce guests to local points of interest, dining options, activities, and hotel amenities during transportation.
• Stay informed about daily hotel operations, locations, and schedules to guide guests effectively.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Front Desk regarding itinerary adjustments and guest requests.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
• Conduct routine checks of essential vehicle fluids and tire pressure.
• Report any vehicle issues to the Guest Services Manager promptly.
• Complete vehicle maintenance checklists as instructed.
• Accurately document any incidents or accidents as they occur.
• Assist the Front Desk in tracking lost luggage through airline services.
• Adhere to safe driving practices at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in guest or customer service is advantageous.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Regular driving in various weather conditions is expected, including bright sunlight and nighttime. Candidates must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.
