Are you looking for a dynamic role that allows you to work outside the traditional shop environment? New Holland Auto Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to spearhead our Mobile Service Division and Mobile Service Collision unit. A mobile service van will be provided for your convenience.

We proudly service a variety of brands including Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Toyota.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external clients, such as Independent Repair Shops, Collision Repair Facilities, New Car Dealerships, Used Car Dealerships, and Fleet Companies.

This position offers a competitive HOURLY WAGE ranging from $18 to $26 per hour, commensurate with experience. A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mechanical services and technical support to Collision Repair Shops, Mechanical Repair Shops, and Fleet Customers, ensuring safe and proper repairs of Ford products.
  • Conduct onsite diagnostics, software updates, and reprogramming services.
  • Perform pre-collision repair scanning to capture DTC codes.
  • Execute post-collision repair scanning to identify and clear DTC codes.
  • Handle calibration for ADAS, safety, and driver convenience systems.
  • Provide A/C charging services.
  • Maintain direct communication with a dedicated Service Advisor regarding the status of work requests and estimated completion times to keep customers informed.
  • Execute recalls and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Job Requirements:
  • 2 - 5 years of hands-on technical experience.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Exhibit behaviors that align with the company's values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Manufacturer's certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Completion of an Automotive Technical/Trade School program.
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, coupled with a customer service mindset.
  • Basic skills in math, reading, and computer usage.
  • Exceptional oral communication skills.
  • A valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
