Aegis Worldwide is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Production Team Leader. This position is responsible for overseeing the assembly operation and workforce, ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign tasks and duties to team members.
- Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for new associates.
- Maintain knowledge and expertise of departmental machines, equipment, and procedures.
- Implement preventative maintenance plans for machines and equipment.
- Identify and address production problem areas, implementing countermeasures as needed.
- Monitor production progress against the production schedule.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement measures to reduce expenses.
- Promote and ensure adherence to company procedures and standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
- Effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on leadership and problem-solving.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of industry-specific software.
Working Conditions:
- This role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, carrying, and lifting.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required in accordance with company policy.
