Job Description

We are a 2-brew brewhouse designed as a Brew on Premise (BOP) concept, part of the BakerStreet Steakhouse group.

The Head Brewer will be responsible for the overall productivity, management, and development of the brewhouse in close coordination with management.

The Head Brewer oversees and directs all brewing processes, including material selection, recipe formulation and adherence, production schedules, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and finished product quality assurance and quality control procedures.

The Head Brewer is responsible for optimizing brewery operations and budgeting, as well as the ongoing development of the department.

This position requires guest and customer interaction, including guiding guests through their BOP experience, leading training courses for restaurant staff, and occasional lectures for beer-making classes through local educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all brewing processes

  • Develop and implement production schedules
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and quality control procedures
  • Optimize brewery operations and budgeting
  • Develop and lead training courses for staff
  • Represent the brewery in local educational institutions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of brewing experience
  • Experience with Ekos
  • Mechanical skills
  • Highly organized and financially responsible
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with others
