Job Title: EMT - Industrial Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated EMT to join our team at a fast-growing recycling plant in Reading, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with plant employees, providing essential healthcare services while promoting a culture of safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety checks throughout the plant to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Build relationships with plant employees, providing health checkups, post-injury triage, consultations, and ongoing case management.
  • Manage and follow up on employee cases, ensuring they have the support and information needed to recover and return to work safely.
  • Provide first aid, perform routine health assessments, and address minor medical conditions such as headaches, colds, muscle strains, and joint sprains.
  • Participate in safety programs, health fairs, and other initiatives to foster a positive and health-conscious culture.
Requirements:
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and electronic medical records software.
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued, with the ability to understand and communicate in Spanish.
  • Flexible and personable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Educational requirements include an Associate's degree, valid state EMT licensure, and current CPR/BLS certification.
