Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Life Lion EMS team in Berks County. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, assessing patients, and providing medical care in accordance with PA DOH Basic Life Support standard curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and assess patients
  • Provide medical care in accordance with PA DOH Basic Life Support standard curriculum
  • Transport patients according to established protocols
  • Assist Advance Life Support (Paramedic) providers with patient care management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic life support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Program CPR/AED certified required
  • Eligibility for Pennsylvania EMT certification required
  • Valid Driver's license required and eligible to operate an EMS vehicle in the Commonwealth of PA required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience preferred
