About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team at Aloft Arundel Mills BWI Airport. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sautéing, and meeting all presentation guidelines and following standard recipes.
  • Demonstrate a professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with guests, vendors, and associates.
  • Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all necessary ingredients for the shift.
  • Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules.
  • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.
  • Previous experience working in food service is preferred.
  • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
  • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements.
