About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at McConnell Golf. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, including staff supervision, menu preparation, and food quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring that all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards.
  • Conduct daily raw cost tracking counts to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Assist with monthly inventories, pricing, and cost controls to optimize food production and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Consistently maintain high standards of quality, cost, and presentation of foods.
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with menu planning, food procurement, and inventory management.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and food handling principles.
  • Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Knowledge of food safety certification and American Culinary Federation certification.
  • Ability to effectively supervise kitchen staff and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
What We Offer

McConnell Golf offers a competitive salary range of $47,000 to $50,000 per year, as well as outstanding benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a daily complimentary staff meal.
