Job Title: Outlet Sous Chef

Job Summary:

The Outlet Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence in a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment. This role involves menu development, inventory control, and staff training and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus in compliance with management directives.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, sanitation, and cleanliness of the outlet.
  • Control inventory, product flow, and rotation to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Provide effective ordering to meet business needs within food cost controls and budgetary guidelines.
  • Work with the Executive Chef on menu development and implementation.
  • Develop comprehensive training manuals and implement intensive training for staff.
  • Ensure total quality and quantity control for all products received in the outlet.
  • Provide consistent follow-up on operational functions and act as a liaison between front and back-of-house operations.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and train staff, and administer established Food & Beverage Policies, Labor Laws, and Delaware Sanitary Codes.
  • Communicate with and promote positive team member and guest relations.

Requirements:

  • Four (4) years of culinary experience, preferably in hospitality or entertainment facilities.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards.
  • Experience with P.O.S. systems and PC-related systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
