Job Title: Group Benefits Executive Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Group Benefits Executive Account Manager to join our team at Heffernan Insurance Brokers. This is a key leadership role that will involve training, mentoring, and assisting an assigned account management service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Provide technical support and education to the service and sales teams, and assist with new business sales.
  • Team Leadership: Support and supervise the account management service team, including workflow and workload balance, employee performance reviews, and talent acquisition and management.
  • Client Education: Assist in educating clients on group benefits and insurance products.
  • Marketing and Renewal: Coordinate marketing and renewal processes for assigned clients, including program structure, review, and analysis.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain benefits administration systems for assigned accounts, audit client information, premium, and commissions, and ensure thorough documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate/GED required.
  • License: Active Life & Health license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years working experience in group health insurance or with a benefits brokerage/consulting firm.
  • Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving, analytical, and marketing skills, and proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Compensation:
