Job Summary:

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a highly skilled Customer Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Quality organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team to drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and implement solutions to nonconformities and quality issues raised by customers.
  • Direct escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and develop recommendations for corrective action for design problems.
  • Work with product design and specification to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure a high level of product quality.
  • Perform escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action for design problems.
  • Lead customer audits/assessments when requested.
  • Identify and manage risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements.
  • Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
  • Review process control documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
  • Quality strategy definition and executive leadership cadence.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience in production/manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in the Aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Management System(s) and Root Cause Analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a cross-functional team to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal) must be able to summarize complicated technical topics quickly and concisely.
