Position Title: Senior Supply Chain Solutions Engineer

Overview:

Role Summary

This position is integral to driving business transformation within the PS Planning division, collaborating closely with project teams and business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment with essential business processes and the technology roadmap.

The incumbent will be tasked with formulating project strategies and analytical methodologies, analyzing benchmarking and statistical data to innovate processes and tools aimed at achieving supply chain goals. Additionally, this role will oversee large-scale, cross-functional project teams while managing intricate strategic supply chain initiatives.

The position plays a pivotal role in shaping supply chain strategy within the planning division, providing consultancy to business leaders on significant supply chain challenges, and working alongside key stakeholders to enhance solutions.

Leveraging industry knowledge, the role will contribute innovative concepts and assist in developing new frameworks and tools for supply chain projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical frameworks and project strategies utilizing advanced supply chain and industry insights.
  • Analyze benchmarking and statistical data to devise new processes, strategies, and tools for supply chain objectives.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and prepare business cases and financial analyses for supply chain initiatives.
  • Lead extensive, cross-functional project teams, offering mentorship and guidance to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage complex strategic supply chain projects from inception to execution, delivering insights from project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT delivery teams and leadership to identify technical challenges and opportunities, informing future roadmaps and recommendations.
  • Advise business executives on a variety of high-level supply chain matters, including risk management and growth opportunities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to optimize supply chain solutions and contribute to new process capability requirements, enhancing implementation experiences and adoption rates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on the formulation of overarching supply chain strategies and long-term organizational goals.
  • Utilize industry expertise to foster the development of innovative principles and ideas within supply chain projects.
  • Establish new delivery frameworks and contribute to the creation of tools, templates, and intellectual resources.
Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is recommended.

A minimum of 8 years of IT experience is required, including:

  • At least 2 years in a senior-level capacity.
  • Over 5 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), specifically WM iSeries and/or MAWM.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with ERP system integrations, particularly SAP.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Technology.
  • Demonstrated project and process management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
