Position Summary:


As an Escrow Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in assisting the Escrow Officer to facilitate seamless and effective transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Assistance:
Aid the Escrow Officer in the preparation and organization of escrow documentation, manage contract receipts/earnest money, initiate orders, and procure necessary documents.

Title Clearance:
Proficiently interpret title commitments and assist in resolving issues to clear Schedule C, including ordering payoffs and coordinating with relevant parties.

Document Preparation:
Capable of preparing preliminary Closing Disclosure and balancing with lenders.

Scheduling Coordination:
Organize the scheduling of closings and mobile notaries as needed.

Closing and Funding Procedures:
Prepare title closing documents, oversee funding processes, assist in file balancing, and manage the disbursement of funds, including the preparation of outgoing wires and checks, and the recording of relevant documents.

Client Relations:
Serve as a primary contact for clients and real estate professionals, managing communications with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications:

Essential:
High School Diploma required; College degree preferred.

Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in an Escrow Assistant role.

Familiarity with SoftPro and SmartView is advantageous.

A warm and positive demeanor is essential in our dynamic office environment.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.

Detail-oriented with strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven accuracy while working efficiently to meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain composure under pressure while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently, adhering to processes with minimal oversight.

Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, SoftPro, Excel, and general web applications.
