C-2 Utility Contractors, LLC is seeking a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our team. As a key member of our underground construction crew, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating Directional Drills and other equipment to install, repair, and maintain underground utilities and telecommunication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Directional Drills and other equipment on job sites, including but not limited to: Direction Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer, Vacuum Truck/Trailer, and Locator.
  • Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the job site.
  • Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
  • Set up and clean up job sites.
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on trucks.
  • Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction.
  • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers, and flag traffic as needed.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States for C-2 Utility Contractors, LLC.
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsements (strongly preferred).
  • Have experience with Directional Drill equipment and understand its capabilities and limitations.
  • Be safety-conscious and able to effectively communicate with crew, customers, and vendors.
  • Be able to follow instructions and read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
  • Be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
  • Occasionally lift 75 pounds as needed with or without assistance.
