We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at our Oregon, IL plant. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machine tools, including surface grinders, mills, lathes, and drill presses, to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance on machine tools and equipment
- Program and operate CNC machines using CAMWorks and SolidWorks
- Work with close tolerances and make fixtures for machines
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Machinist or completion of an apprenticeship
- Knowledge of precision measuring devices and ability to interpret blueprints
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety-minded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
