Position Overview

The Senior Research Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive analytical and research support within a collaborative team environment. This position is essential for providing valuable insights and consulting services to both governmental and commercial entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed analysis plans and specifications for review by project leaders and team members, collaborating with technical staff to implement complex methodologies effectively.
  • Contribute to client deliverables by interpreting results and preparing reports, technical documents, presentations, and other materials.
  • Assist in the formulation of new business proposals to expand service offerings.
  • Guide junior analysts and research assistants in data extraction from diverse sources to support research initiatives and client deliverables.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure research projects align with client expectations and requirements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and lead training sessions for new hires.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector or quantitative research related to health.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and fostering collaborative environments.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with administrative claims, survey data, or patient-level data.
  • Knowledge of healthcare provider processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and government policies.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Education

  • Master's Degree in a related discipline.
